India Army Slams Pakistan's 'Lies' After US-Brokered Ceasefire Agreement (X)
On this important occasion, Indian Army officer Commodore Raghu R. Nair, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Colonel Sophia Qureshi held a press conference in which they discussed the false news spread by Pakistan and the current state of the conflict.
Despite India's announcement of closure of airspace for civilian aircraft in the border areas under Operation Sindoor, Pakistan has not taken any such step. Reacting to this, Colonel Sophia Qureshi said that this irresponsible behavior of Pakistan is against international civil aviation rules. Its purpose is only to use its airspace as a shield to avoid India's missile and air attacks.
On Thursday night, Pakistan carried out drone strikes in 26 cities, in which an attempt was made to target Srinagar Airport and Awantipora Airbase. The Indian Army thwarted these drone attacks with its air defence systems and shot down most of the drones.
Pakistan spread many false news during this period, one of which was the news of damaging the BrahMos missile. The Indian Army denied these false reports and said that India did not attack any religious place. The Indian Army officials clarified that their aim is only to respond to Pakistani attacks and protect our borders.
The Indian Army has given a befitting reply to Pakistan's drone and mortar attacks. Pakistani attacks on the Line of Control were destroyed by the Indian Army in the air. Meanwhile, the Indian Army also said that all kinds of attacks from Pakistan are failing and the Indian defense system is constantly responding with its strength.
Indian Army officials also said during the press conference that military preparedness will be strengthened in view of the tension between India and Pakistan. Despite Pakistan's repeated attacks and false allegations, the Indian Army is ready to maintain peace while fulfilling its responsibilities.
This ceasefire can be a step towards a positive direction for both countries, but establishing peace can still be challenging due to tensions and lack of trust between the two countries. The Indian Army says that Pakistan needs to rectify its mistakes and take steps towards peace, so that such conflicts can be avoided in the future.
